ATLANTA — The Chase Oliver and Mike ter Maat campaign for president is officially on the ballot in Virginia, where the vice presidential candidate lives.
“I am excited to say that the campaign has qualified for ballot access in Virginia,” says Oliver, Libertarian candidate for president.
Oliver adds that the 2024 presidential race will be tough: “The Oliver/ter Maat campaign is ready to fight for every vote.”
Oliver and running mate ter Maat celebrate that voters will have more choices on their ballots beyond those offered by the Old Parties. As of Wednesday, Aug. 28, Oliver’s candidacy is certified in 34 states; paperwork is filed in 9 and ballot-access is attained; paperwork is filed in 4; and petitioning is continuing in 1. He will be a write-in candidate in Illinois, New York, and Washington D.C.

Ter Maat will be in Buena Vista 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 2 for the 51st Annual Labor Day Fest. He will be in a booth co-hosted by the Libertarian Party of Virginia at the festival at Glen Maury Park, 100 Glen Maury Park Road.
